About this program
You already know the ward. This program takes the experience you have and gives it the academic backing of a full degree. You go deeper into nursing theory, research, leadership, and community health, and you learn to think about care at the level of a whole unit rather than one patient at a time.
It is built for people who are already working. The two year structure is designed around nurses who need a qualification that opens supervisory posts, teaching roles, and further study, without starting over from the beginning.
What you will learn
- Apply nursing theory and evidence to daily practice
- Lead and supervise a nursing team
- Read and use research to improve patient care
- Plan and deliver community health programs
- Teach and mentor junior nursing staff
- Understand health policy and how a unit is managed
Where this can take you
A BSN opens supervisory and administrative posts, nursing education roles, and public sector positions that require a degree. It is also the qualification most further study routes ask for.
