About this program
This is the complete nursing degree. Over four years you build up from the basics of the human body to handling patients on your own with a supervisor watching. You study anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical and surgical nursing, community health, and mental health nursing.
The training is split between classroom teaching, practice in our simulation lab, and clinical rotations in a working hospital. If you want the widest set of options after you qualify, including senior roles and further study, this is the program that opens them.
What you will learn
- Assess a patient and record vital signs accurately
- Give medicines safely and understand how they work
- Care for patients before and after surgery
- Handle emergencies and know when to escalate
- Run health education sessions in the community
- Keep proper nursing records and hand over a shift cleanly
